What's happening to the Telegraph? Normally fair in its reporting of Israel, its headline on yesterday's story about the deaths in Gaza was the kind of inflammatory distortion we're used to from the Palestinian propagandists of the British press:
'10 die as Israelis fire on children's march'.
This promotes the odious claim that the Israelis deliberately targeted children. That their weapons tragically hit a demonstration is undeniable. But they have vehemently denied that they deliberately targeted innocent civilians, let alone children.
Now that Conrad Black is out of the frame at Telegraph towers, could it be that its foreign pages are reverting to the British media's default mode of perpetrating the Big Lie about Israel?
